Mindy has been working in the SU since 2016. She is the Transitional Housing Liaison for the WRVSU. In addition to that role, she is the school counselor for the First Branch Unified School District (CPS &TCS). She has a Master's Degree in Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling and her license in school counseling. She lives with her husband and two children. You can reach Mindy at mfarnham@wrvsu.org.
Heather Bertrand worked for twelve years as a paraprofessional in special education. She also worked as a substitute for Orange East Supervisory Union. Her roles have included para, teacher, and school counselor.
She is a mother of five who experienced the special education process firsthand. It was through this segment of my life that she uncovered the importance for dedicated individuals to address the needs of all children.
She graduated from Plymouth State University’s education and school counseling program and also has a BS in Psychology and Human Services.
She is a Connecticut native, however, she moved to East Corinth, Vermont seven years ago. Instantly, she fell in love with the mountains, people, and strong community bonds. She enjoys traveling, gardening, antiques, and spending time at amusement parks.
