Teaching preschool, and 5th-8th grade students.

The ideal candidate is licensed in physical education and incorporates lessons of health and fitness into classroom activities.

Additionally the right candidate is organized, works well to support academic teams, and has additional interest to support outdoor education. They also possess the ability to work collaboratively, have strong communication skills and understand the individual needs of students.

Classroom management skills and the ability to clearly communicate with staff, students and parents is essential. First Branch Unified District is a Responsive Classroom and PBIS district.

PreK Teacher/Paraeducator

Part-time After school preschool teacher to work with another aftercare staff member.

Monday through Friday 2 pm-5:15 pm.

The team is also open to someone who can work a few days a week too.

An ideal candidate will have an understanding of early childhood development, outdoor education and proven classroom management skills. Additional training in First Aid & CPS, Zones of Regulation, and Responsive Classroom can be provided if needed

Grade 3 Long Term Sub

Full Time Long Term Sub

Licensed elementary teacher for a 3rd grade classroom on the Tunbridge campus for the 2024-2025 school year from March-June.

We are committed to offering a supportive, research-based, rigorous academic program with a focus on community and outdoor education to meet the needs of all our students.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

  • A current Vermont K - 6 teaching certification or Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Experience working with elementary students.

    Willingness to expand knowledge of best practices in literacy and mathematics

  • Proven classroom management skills

  • Ability to communicate with students and guardians

  • Value flexible thinking, problem solving, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to every student can learn.

Part time.

Work in the One Planet after school program at Tunbridge Elementary School.

Hours : Monday - Friday, 2:30-5:30pm.
